Adult IPTV default password 0000: find it and change it
You open the adult category in your IPTV app and it asks for a code. In many cases it is 0000 — but not always. Here is where that code lives, what to try if it doesn’t work, and above all how to replace it with your own.
What is this password for?
This code is not your subscription password. It is the parental control PIN of the player app: it locks the adult categories so nobody else can open them on the TV or phone.
- Subscription login (server, username, Xtream password): provided by your IPTV provider, it gives access to the channels.
- Parental PIN (usually 4 digits): set in the app, it protects adult content from being displayed.
In short: if the app shows the categories but asks for a code to open the adult channels, it is the parental PIN you need — and it is often 0000 to begin with.
The default code in each app
The default code depends on the app and sometimes on its version. Here is what you meet most often:

Menus can change slightly between versions, but the option is almost always called “Parental control”.
0000 doesn’t work? What to do
- Try 1234, the other very common default code.
- Check whether a code was already set: if you or someone else changed it, 0000 will no longer work.

- Reset the app as a last resort: clearing its data (Android TV, Fire TV) or reinstalling restores the default code — but also erases your playlist, which you will need to add again.
Changing the code: why and how
Keeping 0000 is like having no lock at all: everyone knows that code. Change it as soon as you install.
- Open Settings → Parental control in your player.
- Enter the old code (0000 by default where applicable).
- Choose a new code: avoid 1234, 1111, your birth year or your bank card PIN.
- Tick the adult categories to lock (live channels, VOD and series).
- Test it: close the app, reopen it and check that the code is requested.
Think of minors: on a family TV this lock is essential. It complements filtering software that recognises the RTA “Restricted To Adults” label.
Going further with discretion
- Hide the categories rather than just locking them, if your player allows it: they no longer appear at all.
- Remove the app from the favourites on the TV’s home screen.
